We all want our work to be meaningful, our relationships to be satisfying, and to know we are making a difference in the world. While we are moving toward what’s important to us, stress, anxiety, and pressure get in our way. We face pressure from work, leadership responsibilities, and challenges making our relationships thrive.

If these external pressures were not enough, we also battle with our thoughts and feelings that increases our anxiety and levels of stress. We have a jury in our head reminding us that we do not measure up, predicting problems, blaming us, and telling us what others think.

Rather than putting our best effort and energy into what is important, we work hard to keep the our anxiety under control, far away from where anyone can see it.

How would you like to develop the mindset to handle stress and anxiety? We need specific skills to manage our thoughts and emotions that get in our way. Welcome to the one coaching program that will help you develop a flexible mind, strong character, and purpose-driven behavior that you need to manage your stress and anxiety, and live authentically! You are not alone—I am here to help you.

We often fail to manage our anxiety and stress because we lose sight of what is important to us, try to control our unhelpful thoughts and feelings, and avoid our distress. Our efforts to feel better only make our lives more difficult.

But the real way to manage anxiety is to clarify our mission in life, let go of the struggle with our thoughts and feelings, accept what we cannot control, and take action toward what is meaningful. If you are stuck and ready to start over, the six key principles I will outline for you will help you find freedom and set your life course on a mission of adventure that has eternal significance.

Working with me as your coach, you will learn the skills necessary to develop a flexible mind that will help you manage your stress and anxiety. If you are ready to invest in yourself, become resilient, and create a meaningful life despite the pressure you are under, then schedule your initial consultation where we will discuss your goals, determine how we can best work together, and review the coaching packages that meet your needs.

My coaching style is proactive, evidence-based, and guided by a Christian framework for understanding people and our purpose in life. I am compassionate and supportive, viewing each person I help as a fellow traveler who will benefit from an outside perspective. I have been helping people solve problems, manage stress, overcome anxiety, and repair relationships for the past 33 years. I am a writer for Psychology Today, a mental health expert for WikiHow, and author of the book, Chronic Pain Rehabilitation: Active pain management that helps you get back to the life you love.

Testimonials

  • Evan spoke wisdom into our lives and our marriage. We’ve learned to be responsible for ourselves and give space for each other to develop at our own pace. Instead of quick fixes, Evan provided deep insights that have taken us time to live into and incorporate into our daily rhythms. We are still growing from all that we learned. He gave us the clear steps we need to change and build a strong relationship.

  • Several years ago, I had the privilege of receiving counseling help from Evan when I was stuck in life and confused about the problems I was wrestling with that no one know about but me. His counsel during that time of personal crisis helped me to process my experience, see what was wrong, and develop a framework for understanding my thoughts and emotions that has resulted in many good choices.

  • Evan worked with me during an extreme time of personal and family crisis and was able to help me and my family in life-changing ways. I had received other types of help and guidance over the years with limited results, but my time with Evan was different. Evan combined his clinical knowledge with very simple, practical, clear ways of understanding and applying insights and truth. He was a safe listener and integrated solid clinical experience with compassionate and practical coaching. Not only was I able to begin putting the puzzle pieces of my story together but I began a journey of transformation that has made all the difference in my relationship with my wife and children.
