People are complicated! Relationships are complicated! If you find yourself asking why people do what they do, then this retreat is for you.

I have found that people around the world have similar questions and struggles. They worry about their children, wonder how to get along in marriage, and want to build satisfying relationships with others.

This series begins by examining who we are meant to be and what went wrong right from the beginning. The first step toward lasting change is to expose the faulty beliefs, mindsets, habits, and behavioral patterns we already hold. Regardless of when we come to Christ, we are already conformed to the world and have established ways of navigating life, deciding what is important, and understanding what is wrong (Romans 12:2). These deeply ingrained patterns of our hearts, minds, spirits, and relationships need to be named to be changed. Join us this September from the 21st to the 25th (2026) at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp, Eagle River, Michigan.
